The Warriors will compete April 30-May 2 at Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, Iowa, in the North Region tournament.
WSU was the No. 5 seed in the six-team region. Also competing in the region are Augustana (S.D.), Nebraska-Omaha, North Dakota, Truman State (Mo.) and Upper Iowa.
The Warriors finished second in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, just five strokes behind Upper Iowa.
Morgan Proshek led WSU at the conference tournament, taking medalist honors with a four-round score of 304. She finished six shots better than Upper Iowa’s Rachael Schmidt.
Nikki Wilson tied for fifth and Magan Placko was 10th for the Warriors.
The regional tournament is 54 holes. The top two teams and top two individuals not on a qualifying team advance to the NCAA championships.
The NCAA championships are May 9-12 at Stonebrook Golf Club in Pensacola, Fla.
