Devine won the 55-meter hurdles in 8.51 seconds, but set the facility record in preliminaries (8.47) at the Carleton College four-team invite.
Magnuson went 11-feet, 7¾ inches in winning the pole vault.
Bradford’s 1:39.89 was good enough for second in the 600. Teammate Adi Luedtke took third (1:40.47).
Chelsea Brown took second in the shot put for WSU (40-2¾), Nikki Olson set a personal record in winning the 200 (26.67). Teammate Sam Lisoski won the 55 dash (7.54) and Olson was second (7.59).
WSU’s Steph Smith, Jordyn Marg, Theresa Pawelko and Allie Glasbrenner won the distance medley relay (13:13.25).
Gymnastics
Gershon/McLellan Invitational
LA CROSSE, Wis. — Alexandra Nugent took third on vault with a 9.625 and fourth in the all-around with a 36.6, making her season high for Winona State.
The team scored a 177.35, placing them fourth in the team’s first invitational of the year.
Women’s hockey
Saint Mary’s 3, St. Catherine 0
Amy Madden had one goal and one assist to lead Saint Mary’s to a shutout victory over MIAC rival St. Catherine.
Angie Kryzer and Laura Mueller also scored for the Cardinals.
The Cardinals (5-11-2, 5-5-1) outshot winless St. Catherine (0-16-1, 0-10-1) 37-12.
Men’s Swimming
St. Thomas 120, SMU 62
Eric Hill scored a 1:00.71 in the 100-butterfly for the Cardinals in a 120-62 decision over St. Thomas in SMU’s last home meet of the year.
The team enjoyed their last home meet of the season, especially lone men’s senior Mike Marek.
“This meet wasn’t about winning or losing. It was about enjoying one last bit of competition before conference, not to mention letting our seniors savor one last home meet,” SMU coach Eric Lindquist said.
John Fox added a second place in the 50 freestyle with a 20.90.
Women’s Swimming
St. Thomas 117, SMU 53
SMU’s Danielle Braun scored a 27.93 in the 50-yard freestyle for the women, but the team couldn’t pull it off as they lost to St. Thomas 117-53.
The team had three seniors enjoying their last home meet before conference.
Jennifer Sazama added a second place in the 100 butterfly (1:10.03).
