“We are really proud of the way our kids played,” WSHS coach Fran McDevitt said. “They battled back the whole game.”
Joey Nadeau scored the game-winner, beating Mora goalie Travis Tyson on the glove side after faking right.
Nadeau, a sophomore forward, added an assist in the first period on a Marty Moran goal that gave the Winhawks (1-8) the 1-0 lead early in the first period.
Mora scored a pair of goals before Nadeau tied the contest at 2-2 with Dan Bechtle and Robby Lloyd each earning an assist.
Mora struck again, but senior Anthony Brickner tied things at 3-3 with Lloyd earning the assist midway through the third.
